Dr. Cordero only says what many of her co-religionists whisper behind the scenes. There are those who forget that the right is a breed that uses the democratic game only when it suits them, and when their interests are endangered, they do not hesitate to display their true miserable soul.

It was for treason.
It was due to the imposition of the United States government on its local lackeys, paid punctually, to destabilize the economy at the level of feeding people, transformed by miserable dollars into criminals and traitors to their country.
See what happened to truckers, merchants, the military and certain politicians who pose as exemplary Democrats and innocent doves: all complicit, cover-ups and when not perpetrators of the worst aberrations.
The creation of the conditions for the coup d’état was the work of these powerful sectors and the machination of the State Department and the CIA, infiltrated to the mother with agents who betrayed the oaths with which they gargle after the reveille.
And what was unleashed was not a mere change of government.
It was genocide, it was the most inconceivable brutality, it was the deployment of concentrated and animated hatred for centuries, and it was the rational and planned application of the extermination, disappearance, torture, and imprisonment of hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children. And the installation of a culture of horror and pain for seventeen years.
Dr. Cordero is the daughter, mother and close relative of this cowardly and evil culture. His are not nonsense: his sayings are the product of his most intimate convictions.
For those who think that the dictatorship ended with the cowardly and treasonous secret agreements, these episodes of a person who is not crazy as some speculate, but, on the contrary, is perfectly lucid, his vile statements against the heroic Senator Campillai should signify a reminder that the beast is still there.
The crisis that Chile is experiencing in almost all areas that shape the nation has to do with the fact that the most significant effects and legacies of the dictatorship are still fully in force.
Even if there is a democratic patina that is nothing more than a set-up in which some pretend to tell the truth and others pretend to believe.
And in that dreadful immoral marriage, the people, where Fabiola Campillai is legitimately from, is the one that pays for the piper and all the rest of the brokenness.
There are many who agree with the aberration of Dr. Cordero. Many of those people, including the deputy psychiatrist herself, would prefer to see Senator Campillai tied to a rail and under thirty meters of sea.
They know that in that dignified and courageous position of Senator Campillai lies an example that they must try to discredit through vilification and lies as long as they do not need the corvos and helicopters.
