The Miser by Molière: A Classic Play Revived with Humor and Delicious Dining

The public will be entitled to a new version of The Miser, the famous play by Molière, directed by Michel-Olivier Dury. This classic has lost none of its humor and its portrayal of characters with characters so similar to our contemporaries. The Miser is the certainty of having a good time thanks to a tasty text, served by a brilliant cast and a rhythmic staging.

An evening to listen, see… and feast!

Entertainment hailed by the public.

Spectators thrilled

The first performances were warmly applauded. The rural setting of the place – a theater installed in a barn – is also an attraction of the meeting punctuated by a meal break. At the end of the second act, the spectators-guests sit down around a meal prepared and served by the mistress of the place, Marguerite-Marie Lozac’h, as much at ease with the art of handling verses and alexandrines as the good local products to make dishes to delight your palate. It’s up to you to bite into L’Avare!

Convenient. L’Avare, Friday and Saturday, at 8:30 p.m., at the Jean-René-Lozac’h Art Center, at the Ferme de Gland, in Saint-Maixme-Hauterive. Admission: €14. €26 (with meal). Tel.06.95.09.29.78. [email protected]
