The Minsk Metro train schedule will change during the New Year and Christmas holidays, reports Telegram channel of the capital’s subway.
So, on December 30, 2023, January 1, 2, 6, 7, 2024, the metro will operate on a weekend schedule. On December 31, a weekend schedule was selected with a transition to a variant schedule.
On New Year’s Eve (from December 31 to January 1), the metro will accept passengers until 4.00. Stations “Nemiga”, “Oktyabrskaya” and “Kupalovskaya” (exit to Independence Avenue) will close at 4.15.
The train interval from 00:00 to 4:00 on January 1, 2024 on the 1st and 2nd metro lines will be 6 minutes, on the 3rd – 10 minutes.
The metro will begin operating on January 1, as usual, at 5:30 am.
In connection with the holding of festive cultural events, the Minsk Metro asks passengers to purchase tokens and travel tickets in advance, and also reminds that at all stations travel can be paid using contactless bank cards.
