JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) together with the Wilmar Group distributed 8,400 liters cooking oil premium packaging to modern retail in Bandung City.

Cooking oil These will be sold directly to the public according to the highest retail price (HET) at Rp. 14,000 per liter.

As for modern retail that accommodates cheap cooking oil These are Yogya Antapani, Borma Cinunuk, and Borma Prama BBK Sari.

“The current market operation in modern retail is an effort by the government to provide direct supplies of cooking oil to the public,” said Trade Minister Muhammad Lutfi in his official broadcast, Wednesday (23/2/2022).

The Trade Minister hopes that this activity will stabilize the price and availability of cooking oil in the community.

In addition, Trade Minister Lutfi also said that his party on Tuesday (22/2/2022) had also distributed 12,000 liters of premium packaged cooking oil under the Fortune, Sovia, and Sania brands which were distributed in Yogya Kopo Mas, Borma Gempol, and Borma Cijerah. .

In addition to modern retail, on the same day, the Ministry of Trade also resumed bulk cooking oil market operations in Sukabumi City, West Java.

A total of 10,800 liters of bulk cooking oil are distributed to Pelita Market and Tipar Gede Market to be sold to 113 retailers at a price of Rp 10,500 per liter.

Trade Minister The government will continue to carry out operations on the bulk and packaged cooking oil market simultaneously in all provinces in Indonesia until Idul Fitri 2022.

“We do this to ensure that people can easily get supplies of cooking oil at an affordable price,” said Trade Minister Lutfi.
