The Ministry of Tourism presented Bulgaria at the International Fair of Tourism /Sajam Turizma/ in the Serbian capital Belgrade, which took place from February 22 to 25, 2024. The International Fair of Tourism /Sajam Turizma/ is the largest tourist event on the territory of Serbia and Southeast Europe. It is intended for both the general public and professionals in the industry, and in 2024 it was held for the 45th time.
At an information stand of 100 square meters, our country was represented by 10 tourism companies, branch organizations and municipal administrations: “Renaissance” Ltd., “Avatar Tour” Ltd., “Tsarevgrad Tarnov” Ltd., “NEW SUN TRAVEL” Ltd., “S .B. Royal Hotels” EOOD, “Hotel Golden Ina” EOOD, “Ortanna” EOOD, Municipality of Kyustendil, Municipality of Bansko and Municipality of Stara Zagora.
Traditionally, national and regional tourism organizations from around the world, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, cruise lines, hotel equipment suppliers, media representatives and industry bloggers participate in the exhibition.
Our country is popular among Serbian citizens as a destination offering mainly sea tourism, but there is an exceptional potential for increasing the number of cultural and educational tours, spa, wellness and other specialized forms of tourism such as city breaks.
