Before the arrival of more than 40 companies from Germany, China, Japan, the United States and the new TESLA Gigafactory plant, the Ministry of Labor held the first round table with the participation of universities, institutes, technical schools and centers trainers.
With the objective of presenting the strategic plan for the requirements of the labor force, the Secretary of Labor, Federico Rojas Veloquio, highlighted that with the arrival of these new companies more than 60,000 new jobs will be required, for which it is important to strengthen the plans of study, training and technological and skills training in the state.
“It is very important to unite efforts with the entire educational chain in order to strengthen the workforce with quality training, skills improvement and new technologies, given the needs of each of the companies that will arrive in the state, universities, schools techniques and training centers are an important part of the skilled workforce that Nuevo León has today.” the state official said.
At the beginning of the month, a delegation from the Secretary of Labor visited the facilities of the TESLA company, as well as its training and training centers in the city of Austin, Texas, where they were able to learn about the training processes and procedures, and best practices for develop projects and programs to be implemented in the state.
In this sense, an alliance was created between the State Government through the Ministry of Labor, TESLA and Austin Community College to transfer knowledge to teachers from the various educational centers of Nuevo León with training in the requirements of the plant, within The training that will be implemented highlights topics in advanced technology 4.0, software, python, nanotechnology, nanomaterials, and laboratories.
