The police confirmed that there was a small dose of alcohol and methadone in the blood of the deceased people’s deputy Anton Polyakov. This was announced on the air of the talk show Hard with Vlaschenko by the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko, reports UNN.

According to him, forensic experts told the investigation that in addition to alcohol, the body of the deceased contains a small dose, also such a substance as methadone.

“But what kind of methadone it was when it got into the body with respect to the time of death and how this could affect the death of the victim will be established after in-depth research,” Shevchenko said.

He also noted that now the investigation is considering the version of both Polyakov’s self-administration of these substances and the version that he was poisoned. However, suspicions in the case have not yet been handed over to anyone.
