Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan inaugurated the change of 22 street names in the capital city. Then what’s the fate population data inhabitant?
Ministry of Home Affairs (Ministry of Home Affairs) through the Director General of Dukcapil Zudan Arif Fakhrulloh explained that changes in regional data were related to changes in population administration data. Zudan said that changing population data because the street names were changed did not require an introduction to the local RT/RW. He conveyed that Dukcapil officers would pick up the ball to residents requiring a change of population identity data free of charge.
“The community doesn’t need to worry, later it will be repaired, there is no need for an introduction to the RT/RW, it’s free. Later the task is to pick up the ball to come to the RT, come to the RW, or if you don’t find it, the community will immediately be given new documents,” he said.
“For example, in the past, Jalan Raya Bekasi-Jakarta was changed to Jalan Si Pitung, all you had to do was change the application. Later on, the public will enter new data. People don’t need to bring an RT/RW introduction, just come to Dukcapil, tell Sir, I used to have the address at here later-printout go to the new address, the KTP, the KK for the KIA children,” he continued.
Furthermore, Zudan conveyed that regional changes, both village divisions and district/city and provincial divisions were common in governance. Including the change in the name of the road that is currently being carried out by the DKI Provincial Government.

Previously, Anies Baswedan had inaugurated the change of 22 street names in the Jakarta area. The street names are taken from the names of Betawi figures.
