The head of the Preventive Medicine Sector mentioned that every country takes preventive and precautionary measures to prevent the disease from entering it, noting that the Minister of Health inspected the quarantine at Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh airports, and ordered to double manpower and examine all workers in the halls where Chinese aircraft are received.
Eid continued that the quarantine corresponds to all passengers, and whoever discovers a rise – even if it is simple – in temperature, his condition in the quarantine is evaluated and transferred to a fever hospital to perform the necessary analyzes and rays that deny or confirm the case, in addition to recording the data of all arrivals In hygienic monitoring cards.
He pointed out the head of the Preventive Medicine Sector at the Ministry of Health that the ministry is following the WHO site precisely because it is the most accurate and objective, noting that the confirmed cases in the world are 2014, and 56 deaths.
It is reported that the Corona virus, which resembles the “SARS” virus, and its symptoms are similar to the symptoms of pneumonia, struck the Chinese city of Wuhan, and has left about 54 deaths so far.
