The issue of issuing the corresponding order and the development of detailed step-by-step instructions are being considered.
In Ukraine, they intend to officially allow mixing different types of vaccines against coronavirus. About this on Sunday, July 25, in an interview with Apostrophe reported Chief Sanitary Doctor Igor Kuzin.
“The National Technical Group of Experts on Immunization, as the main advisory body of the MoH, recommended allowing the so-called” mixing (mixing) of the vaccine “, but under strict observance of certain conditions,” he said.
Kuzin clarified that we are talking about the possibility of administering a second dose of Comirnaty / Pfizer-BioNTech after the first dose of Moderna mRNA vaccine, if it is not possible to complete the vaccination with the same drug.
In addition, injecting another drug is suggested if a person has had a severe allergic reaction to the first dose of the vector vaccine from AstraZeneca.
“In this case, it is allowed to enter the second dose of Comirnaty by the decision of the doctor,” Kuzin said.
According to him, the relevant decision of the expert group has already been made.
