The Ministry of Health and Population announced the first form for organ donation after death officially released by it, as the ministry documents it and gives the donor a donation card valid in any hospital.
According to sources from the Ministry of Health and Population, the form will be provided in the free treatment departments of the health directorates in the governorates, and all citizens will be able to sign the donation form at any time without resorting to the property register.
The text of the form is as follows:
I, an Egyptian citizen, have recommended to donate, after my death, the organs and tissues of my body and any part of them that can be transplanted in the future, according to scientific progress, to preserve the life of an Egyptian person or cure him from a serious illness, or complete a vital deficiency in his body. My heirs are not permitted to obtain any benefit or claim any compensation material or in kind as a result of the execution of this will.
