The Ministry of Health and Population directed students aged 12 to 18 to obtain the Corona vaccine before the school year to ensure their protection from the Corona virus, noting that the vaccines are available for free in all centers.
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that the deaths from the Corona virus have reached a low level, the epidemiological situation is very stable and the infections have become very few, explaining that the latest wave of Corona in Egypt it was weak and the virus weakened.
He added that with the advent of the winter season and the season of schools and universities, the resistance of the respiratory system and its adaptation to climate change does not become rapid, and therefore cases of flu, cough and sneezing increase, noting that the solution in the groups most vulnerable to infections is to get seasonal flu vaccination because they are the most necessary for this vaccination, which is similar to corona vaccination, does not give complete immunity and prevention does not dispense with treatment.
