The Ministry stated, in a circular to its directorates in the regions and governorates, that all its employees will work during the month of Ramadan, at a rate of 5 actual working hours per day for civil servants, and at a rate of 6 actual working hours per day for all other groups, according to the Health Jobs Regulations and the Work Regulations for self-employment programs.
The Ministry stated that all health centers will start working during the month of Ramadan, starting from ten o’clock in the morning, with an average of 6 actual working hours, provided that the centers that work in shifts divide their work into several periods to ensure the continuity of providing service to the beneficiaries.
She added that hospitals and specialized centers will operate during the month of Ramadan 5 days a week from Sunday to Thursday, whether they are operating on the civil service system or on self-employment programs according to the approved work quorum, without prejudice to the shift system followed.
The Ministry indicated that the directorates, health gatherings, and departments of their affiliates in the regions and governorates will organize work in the internal and ambulance departments by defining shift paragraphs to ensure the workflow around the clock daily, including organizing the work of employees and craftsmen in the evening period through shifts to ensure the progress of work.
