The Ministry of Health announces the registration of 151 new cases of “Corona” and 17 deaths, and 876 injured have recovered

The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 876 people recovering from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 82,473 cases to date, explaining that 151 new cases have proven positive for their analyzes. Virus laboratory, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures carried out by the Ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 17 new cases.

The ministry said in its daily statement, that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

The ministry stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Friday, is 100,708 cases, including 82,473 cases that have been cured, and 5607 deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to raise its preparations in all governorates of the Republic, follow the situation first-hand regarding the “emerging corona” virus, and take all necessary preventive measures against any viruses or infectious diseases, and the Ministry has allocated a number of communication means to receive citizens’ inquiries about the emerging corona virus and infectious diseases. , Including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the “Egypt Health” application available on phones.
