Today, Friday, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced in its weekly bulletin that a total of 39 new cases of (Covid-19) had been registered.
In the weekly bulletin of the (Covid-19) outcome, which covers the period between March 6 and 10, the ministry highlighted that 6 million, 881 thousand and 310 people received the third dose of the anti-virus vaccine, while the number of vaccinated with the second dose rose to 23 million 423 thousand and 121 people. , compared to 24 million and 921 thousand and 576 people who received the first dose. And 60 thousand and 519 people received the fourth reminder dose recommended by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection for the elderly and people with disease factors.
The ministry added that the new toll of HIV infections raised the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom to one million, 272 thousand and 526 cases since the first case was announced on March 2, 2020, with a weekly positivity rate of approximately 1.2 percent.
New cases were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (18), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (15), Fez-Meknes (3), Marrakech-Safi (2), and Souss-Massa (1).
The total number of active cases reached 58, while no serious cases were recorded during the same period.
