The Ministry of Health and Population decided to reduce employment at the Ministry’s General Office and the units affiliated to the General’s Office, in case of necessity, and in accordance with the assessment of the head of the sector or entity and the controls it issues to ensure the smooth running of work.
This comes in order to protect the employees of the Ministry’s general office and its subordinate units, and those who are hesitant to seek health services from any expected repercussions due to the emerging corona virus, and in accordance with the requirements of work needs and duties, and in a way that achieves the public interest.
The decision issued by Major General Rifat Al-Sai, Assistant to the Minister of Health for Financial and Administrative Affairs, excluded workers in the departments related to managing the Corona crisis in every sector, taking into account that none of the citizens or workers accumulate in the places of service provision.
The decision also stipulated the commitment of each sector to develop an action plan that ensures the preservation of performance rates and the quality of outputs, provided that each sector in the Ministry’s office and its affiliated bodies assumes full responsibility for managing the crisis within the sector or entity using the authority entrusted to it, in a manner that does not conflict with the public interest.
