IN The Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands, on Saturday (March 11), will take place Dutch farmers’ protestwho continue to express their dissatisfaction with the state policy in the field of agriculture. About 50,000 people are expected to take part in the protest actions, reports the Situation Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the website of the Ministry.
A significant proportion of the protesters will travel from other populated areas, which will most likely cause heavy traffic around and in The Hague.
The demonstration will take place in The Hague’s South Park (Zuiderpark) and is expected to start around noon and last until around 4:00 p.m.
The unpredictable behavior of activists, as well as the unpredictability of their actions, can lead to violations of public order and tranquility, as well as to the infliction of damage of considerable value, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs adds.
In addition, another protest action is planned for today – by activists from the socio-political movement in the field of environmental protection and biodiversity preservation – Extinction Rebellion (The Hague). The organizers of the second protest plan to block the A12 motorway (Utrechtsebaan) near The Hague.
In connection with the planned protest actions and the real possibility that they will cause difficulties in movement in and around The Hagueas well as lead to violations of public order, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Bulgarian citizens residing temporarily or permanently on the territory of the Netherlands to inform themselves in advance about the current road situation before traveling to the area of the protest, as well as to consider their behavior with the advice and recommendations of local authorities.
