The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus has decided to increase the consular fee for apostille and legalization of official documents abroad. This is provided for by the decree of the department, which was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on April 14.
According to decreethe following administrative procedures will rise in price for Belarusians abroad:
- legalization of an official document outside of Belarus;
- affixing an apostille on an official document drawn up on the territory of Belarus, when applying for a business entity located outside of it.
Thus, from April 14, the cost of these administrative procedures will be not 35, but 50 euros.
The right to affix an apostille in Belarus was granted to the National Center for Marketing and Price Study
It should be noted that from April 10, 2023, in Belarus, the right to provide services for affixing an apostille on documents, as well as consular legalization of documents, was granted to another state structure – the National Center for Marketing and Price Study.
He acts as an agent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has the right to affix an apostille to the following documents:
- certificates and certificates issued by the registry office and the archives of the registry office (birth certificate, certificate of the absence of a marriage certificate, etc.);
- extracts from the unified state data bank on offenses issued by internal affairs bodies;
- health certificates and extracts from medical documents issued by healthcare institutions;
- extracts from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs (USR) issued by the Ministry of Justice;
- other types of documents, the possibility of affixing an apostille to which is determined when considering the document.
