The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues an important notice regarding travel and work guidelines in the Kingdom of Bahrain

This was stated in a press release released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the ministry confirmed that this falls within the framework of the fruitful cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the brother Kingdom of Bahrain, and in the interest of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take care of the interests of expatriate Egyptian citizens and preserve their rights.

This, and according to the new mechanism, the expatriate worker will have to join specific institutions and companies that provide the expatriate job registration service, and expatriate workers will not be able to obtain a commercial register or carry out specialized professions unless they have obtained a license to exercise the profession by the authorities concerned and the expatriate will not be able to come to Bahrain to work before obtaining an official work permit from the employer, noting that expatriates in Bahrain with a visiting visa cannot apply for a permit of work.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also notes that some travel and tourism agencies facilitate the entry of Egyptian citizens to the Kingdom of Bahrain through a tourist job search visa, which is contrary to the law of the State of Bahrain, and exposes Egyptian citizens to trial for violation of the tourist visa and illegal stay, as well as paying fines and definitive deportation from the Kingdom.
