The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) is still investigating its existence Jozeph Paul Zhang, who allegedly insulted religion and claimed to be the 26th prophet. Until now, there is no certainty about Jozeph’s whereabouts.
“Still investigating the whereabouts of the person concerned,” said the spokesman for the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Faizasyah to detikcom when contacted, Sunday (18/4/2021).
Bareskrim Polri itself is coordinating with Interpol to hunt down Jozeph Paul Zhang’s whereabouts. Kabareskrim Polri, Komjen Agus Andrianto, suspects Jozeph is not in Indonesia. The National Police also coordinated with immigration authorities who knew that Jozeph Paul Zhang’s crossing data had left Indonesia since January 2018.
In this case, Jozeph has already been polished. Jozeph Paul Zhang was policed on suspicion of blasphemy.
The report is registered as LP / B / 0253 / IV / 2021 / BARESKRIM dated April 17, 2021. Jozeph’s reporter to Bareskrim, Husin Shahab, claimed to have received information that Jozeph was suspected of being in Germany.
“Yes, I heard news, information, from some netizens, he said that Jozeph Paul is in Germany,” said Husin when contacted, Sunday (18/4/2021).
“And then the Chief of Police himself has investigated immigration, checking directly that this person is indeed traveling, traveling abroad,” he added.
Husin reported Jozeph on the alleged crime of hate speech in Article 45A paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (2) of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and / or Religious Blasphemy Article 156A of the Criminal Code
