Ministry of Education and Culture to Conduct Examination for Recognition of Profession of People Who Studied Abroad
On July 9, the Ministry of Education and Culture will be conducting an examination for the recognition of the profession of individuals who have studied abroad. This information was provided by the State Examination Center.
According to clause 6.2 of the “Rules for recognition of foreign countries’ higher education qualifications” approved by Resolution No. 34 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 3, 2023, applicants for teaching, engineering, and legal qualifications are required to succeed in the test organized by the State Examination Center. This test is conducted on the order of the functioning Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, under the Ministry of Science and Education.
The Ministry of Education and Culture, in agreement with the Agency, determines the content of the exam, the time, the procedure for evaluating the exam results, and the passing score. Applicants can familiarize themselves with the program by specialization through the relevant links provided by the Ministry (“Teaching”, “Engineering”, “Law”).
In addition to assessing the specialized knowledge of the applicants, the exam program also includes the evaluation of their general knowledge and behavioral competencies through situation-judgment test tasks.
The exam consists of 30 test tasks, with each correct answer being awarded one point. Wrong or unanswered tasks receive zero points. To pass the exam, an applicant must score at least 15 points.
The exam will take place on July 9, 2023, at the State Examination Center located at 28, Abdulvahab Salamzade Street, Nasimi district, next to Noyav 8 metro station. The exam will be conducted on computers and will start at 10:00. Applicants are required to arrive at the exam hall at least 1 hour before the exam begins and must present an identity document upon entering the exam building.
Applicants participating in the exam will receive relevant information from the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education.
