Rustem Umerov said that in 2025 more missiles will be produced at home.
The improved Neptune cruise missile will be produced in Ukraine in 2025. Rustem Umerov announced this at a meeting with Ukrainian missile manufacturers.
Details of the meeting can be found in the official announcement Telegram channel Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The publication says that the Minister of Defense met with Ukrainian missile manufacturers to discuss a cooperation plan with them for the next year. One of the items on the agenda was the Neptune missile, which gained notoriety when the Russian corvette Moskva was destroyed. They decided to upgrade this rocket and launch their mass production.
Today it is known that Ukraine was able to create 100 missiles, but next year it plans to do much more. Another Ukrainian rocket science priority for 2025 will be the Palyanitsya drone rocket.
