The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine notes that the occupiers are “running out of steam”, but Ukraine still has a lot of work ahead.
Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said that Ukraine will fight until the complete liberation of its territories within internationally recognized borders.
She said this during the briefing.
Speaking about the defense of the Donetsk airport and Azovstal by Ukrainians, Malyar noted:
“These heroic episodes of the Russian-Ukrainian war should be a constant reminder to those who, in the 4th month of our struggle, again take out treacherous ideas about appeasing the aggressor from the shameful Munich boxes. We reject this impotent pacifism. Ukraine will fight until the complete liberation of our territories in the international recognized boundaries.”
At the same time, she added that Russian President Vladimir Putin can save face by “getting away from our territories.”
In turn, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Gromov noted that despite the significant losses suffered by the enemy and the demoralization of its personnel, Moscow continues to lose huge funds in the war with Ukraine, throwing more and more untrained soldiers into battle and try to capture more and more Ukrainian land.
“But the enemy is running out of steam. And although we still have a lot of work ahead of us, we see no other way out than to give the enemy a worthy rebuff. Victory will be ours,” he stressed.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky responded harshly to former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to the proposal to agree to the loss of part of the territories in exchange for ending the war.
