The Ministry of Culture concludes the activities of the fifth summer camp

The Ministry of Culture completed the fifth session of its summer camp for the year 2024, which it launched at the beginning of July last year, with the aim of investing in the energies of all members of society, building their abilities, expand awareness, provide information. them of everything new in the field of knowledge, and strengthening their national identity and culture, to be able to build the future of the UAE at a ceremony held at the Umm Al Quwain Creative Cultural Center, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Finance Department of Umm Al Quwain, Mubarak Al Nakhi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, and several high-ranking leadership figures.

The summer camp, in which more than 18,500 beneficiaries participated, from all members of society from the age of 6 to the elderly over 60, contributed to raising the awareness of the participants and deepening their knowledge , by providing 427 programs, 56 special courses, and a wide set of Development activities, which contributed to increasing the skills and abilities of the participants, from which 223 talented people emerged led by 165 freelancers -voluntarily, in partnership with 287 special organizations in the country. .

In a statement, Mubarak Al-Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, said: “This year, through an integrated program of various activities, we wanted to reach all parts of society and contribute to raising their awareness and their views by providing an ideal knowledge environment information for everyone, benefiting from the experience of the camp in the previous sessions “To provide the public with new sources of knowledge that will increase their of knowledge.”
