Roger Bibaye Itandas, Minister of Transport has just closed eleven driving schools operating in the informal sector in Gabon.

A total of 11 schools were closed by the Minister of Transport for reasons of non-compliance. They are accused of working « without a licenseoperation and do not pay the related fee, yeta modicityIt is dIt isconcertante, (100000 FCFA/an) auprAnds of Tr servicesIt issor public»explained the services of the National Center for the examination of the driving license (Cnepc) through the site of the daily newspaper the Union.

Of these 11 schools, four have been suspended « provisionally» while waiting to regularize their administrative, technical and financial situation. Indeed, in Gabon, driving schools in Libreville and its surroundings have become accustomed to operating with « provisional authorizationsexploit» issued to them by the administration. Hence the proliferation of establishments and the anarchy that plagues the sector.

Recall that in 2018, an inspection was carried out in driving schools in Gabon, by the services of the National Driving License Examination Center (Cnepc), and these 11 eleven schools are added to the list of schools declared non-compliant.
