Italian Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora has asked the Italian Football Federation to cancel Serie A matches indefinitely due to the spread of the coronavirus.
The government and the Italian Football Players Association, led by Damiano Tommasi, insisted on such a decision.
Because of this, the start of the match “Parma” – SPAL was postponed, which was supposed to start at 14:30.
The team players were already standing in the under-tribune tunnel, but they were sent to the locker rooms a minute before the start of the game.
As a result, Series A decided spend match “Parma” – SPAL, the game will begin at 15:45. Other matches will also be played today, including Juventus – Inter.
Recall, Serie A will be held without spectators at least until April.
