The Ministry of Oil and Gas Marcel Abeke held a working session today with the management of Assala Gabon and the staff delegates as well as the management of Addax petroleum Oil & gas Gabon and the staff delegates.
The meeting, which took place in two stages, was first held with the management of Assala Gabon and the staff delegates. Remember that the workers are demanding good separation compensation. Addax is on the verge of losing its Dinonga Irondou oil site from January 2024. Staff operating on this site are demanding payment of their rights before the January deadline. Concerning Assala Gabon, the staff demands good separation compensation following the takeover of the company by Maurel & Prom. Maurel & Prom staff are demanding an exceptional bonus for good results following the takeover of Assala Gabon.
