The Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Dr. Guy Patrick Obiang Ndong, accompanied by his Minister Delegate, Mrs. Justine Libimbi marries Mihindou in the middle of medicines

On the instructions of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Dr. Guy Patrick Obiang Ndong, assisted by his Minister Delegate, Mrs. Justine Libimbi wife Mihindou paid a visit to the Nkembo hospital complex in the 2e district of Libreville.

It was a question for the Members of the Government to go to realize the effectiveness of the delivery of Antiretrovirals and Antituberculous drugs. To do this, the two Ministers went to the Antiretroviral and Antituberculosis storage warehouses and to the pharmacy of the Outpatient Treatment Center (CTA). Also, following the delivery of just over four (04) tons of anti-tuberculosis drugs and a sufficient quantity of anti-retroviral drugs to guarantee the availability of stocks throughout the national territory, the Members of the Government wished to express their satisfaction.

For the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, the delivery of these orders demonstrates, once again, the will and above all the commitment of the President of the Republic for whom the care of vulnerable people is a priority. .

Also, Dr. Guy Patrick Obiang Ndong took this opportunity to build public opinion on the difficulties encountered in the availability of Antiretrovirals and Antituberculosis drugs, consequences related to the transfer of funds internationally on the one hand and on the other hand, shipping constraints caused by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. To do this, he invited the staff to a rational management of these stocks by setting up monitoring and control mechanisms, not without insisting on the penalties incurred, indicating that the Government will pursue a zero tolerance policy with regard to the diversion of these pharmaceuticals.
