He did so during his weekly meeting, yesterday, Monday, with the heads of the ministry and the heads of the agencies, and with the participation by videoconference of all the undersecretaries of the ministry in the governorates, to follow the progress of the work in the various ranks of the ministry and to identify challenges and obstacles to overcome them, to ensure the continuity of the provision of the best medical services to patients.
During the meeting, the minister was informed about the work plan of the secretariat Psychological health Treatment of addictions for the year 2023, which includes levels and types of services developed in all the services provided by the Municipality (community services, remote services, health programs and initiatives), in addition to the construction and development plan, emphasizing that the plan is consistent with international standards and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said the minister wanted during the meeting to review the secretariat’s plan for setting up centers of excellence for autism spectrum treatment, as the creation of 20 centers in the governorates of the republic within 5 years, directing the rapid completion of the establishment and opening of these centers, emphasizing the provision of training for service providers on detection and treatment of the autism spectrum.
Abdul Ghaffar added that the meeting was about the review of the executive plan for the training of workers in citizen service offices in hospitals, which aims to welcome citizens and work to solve their problems and complaints, referring to the work on 4 stages encompassing all the governorates of the Republic, successively, through theoretical lessons and workshops at the Princess Academy, Fatima for professional medical education and training centers in the provinces.
Abdel Ghaffar stressed that the minister directed swiftly to prepare an integrated plan for automation and digitization for all sectors and ministry bodies to start implementing it with relevant authorities, especially the monitoring and follow-up sector. up, to ensure the sustainability of the follow-up of the health system and its periodic evaluation, and to identify deficiencies and work to resolve them, as well as holding training courses for all follow-up teams by the relevant authorities of the Ministry.
