The foreign minister of the small Pacific island nation of Tuvalu has recorded a video address for the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow. Simon Coffee recorded the video, which will be broadcast tomorrow, kneeling in the water, legs crossed. Thus, he wants to draw attention to the hot problem that his Pacific country is experiencing as a country on the front line and most threatened by climate change and rising sea levels.

Part of the Pacific small island states and territories will not be able to send government officials to the Glasgow summit due to travel restrictions related to Covid-19.
Tuvalu has a population of about 12,000 people and consists of a dozen islands. It is one of the countries most at risk of extinction due to rising sea levels.
