The Minister for Digital Transformation and Modernization of Administration, Mr. Ahmed Salem Bede Etvagha, yesterday received a group of senior officials from the association Levrig IO, the largest NGO working in the digital field in Mauritania.
During the meeting, both parties discussed their common interests, in a world characterized by a very rapid digital transformation.
Levrig IO brings together a large community of experts, engineers, technicians, researchers and students and is very active in all digital sectors.
In his welcoming remarks, the Minister confirmed that the department was fully available to support civil society initiatives that are active in digital, expressing his openness to explore possible ways to strengthen the partnership between the ministry and CSOs active in digital, including the association Levrig IO. .
The ministry and civil society active in digital technology, such as Levrig IO, have many common goals. Both parties strive to enable Mauritania to take full advantage of the digital revolution, promote the use of digital technology in all areas of life, spread digital culture, strengthen confidence in digital technology and ensure the secure use of digital solutions . Strengthening the partnership between the two parties will provide more opportunities to achieve these common goals at the best level.
