A total of $1,005 million is owed by the National Army in the Huilense capital for aqueduct and sewage service.

LA NACIÓN has in its possession an official document that confirms how the Army owes up to 33 months for the supply of the vital liquid to its facilities of the Ninth Brigade, the Tenerife Battalion, the Cacica Gaitana Battalion and the Aviation Command, among others.

The most prominent debt ($593 million) corresponds to 9 months past due for aqueduct and sewerage to the Ninth Brigade and the Tenerife Battalion. Overdue invoices are cut to this month of August.

Despite the million-dollar debt, Las Ceibas Empresas Públicas de Neiva has refrained from cutting off the water supply to the Army to avoid a health emergency. From Bogotá, the Ministry of Defense would have promised to catch up at the end of next September.
