In 1994, the then Queen Mother left everything tied up and well tied up to ensure that her inheritance would arrive with the lowest possible tax burden. She set up a trust to which she transferred £19m, Vanity Fair reports. That money has not been devalued, quite the opposite. It is not just Harry who will receive a significant amount, but also his brother William, as well as Princess Anne’s children Peter and Zara; and also Andrew’s daughters Beatrice and Eugenie. She also did not forget Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon’s children, Viscount Linley and Lady Sarah Chatto. The children of Edward, Duke of Wessex, Louise and James were not born when the Queen Mother died.

It was agreed that the inheritance would be divided into two instalments for the heirs, one upon reaching the age of 40, as is the case for Harry on 15 September. In order for the sums bequeathed to be exempt from taxes, being considered a kind of life insurance, a requirement had to be met, which the long-lived sovereign met. It had to survive seven years after the contract was signed. According to ‘Tatler’ it is estimated that both William and Harry received six million euros each, but now with the accumulated interest of the trust and its revaluation it is estimated that Harry would receive no more and no less than 20 million pounds this September. It is speculated that the Queen has been more generous with Harry than with William, who as heir to the Crown, would always have more income.

Nothing suggested that Harry would need the money as much as he did now. Her move to the United States has greatly reduced her fortune, as she has to pay for her own and her family’s private security, even when she visits London, as a court ruled against her.
