On the day of this Tuesday a new donation of blood directed by the Center for Transfusion, Tissues and Cells of Cádiz. Ceuta is always a city that meets and registers very high levels, but that does not prevent the lack of reserves from still being at very low levels. That is why they called on the public to fill the Revellín Auditorium Theater this Wednesday to donate blood, which has activated the COMGECEU that, throughout the morning, is leading the different units to contribute with this work.
The first to pass has been the Regulars unit, which has filled the surroundings of the theater, keeping its respective queue and respecting the distance as indicated by the health authorities. Faced with the media warning of a lack of reserves, the military did not want to miss the opportunity. This is the case of Cabos Hossain M. and Nabil F., belonging to Regulares, who did not hesitate when they received the call. “We learned mainly through the media that the reserve was low, and that is why we have all come to do our bit. They made an appeal and the truth is that we haven’t even thought about it ”, they explained to FaroTV.
This action is vitally important as it can save lives. As they themselves recognize, this work is intrinsic to the DNA of military life, which is why this massive response to the request to donate blood. “This work is very important. Due to life circumstances there are people who are not in their best moment of health and need this blood to recover. You have to put yourself in the shoes of others, be in solidarity and help everyone. Who saves a life, the reward is infinite ”.
But this is not by chance, since the military often attend the call to donate blood. It is not the first time that they have carried out this action in our city and with which they contribute their bit so that they can help people who are not going through their best moment of health. “We donate blood a lot, because it is a fundamental task and whenever we can we come to contribute our help.”
Finally, the military have not wanted to miss the opportunity and have asked the public to be aware and to go to the call to increase the blood supply. “Let everyone be encouraged and come to donate. That it doesn’t hurt, and that they can go on with their life like a normal day. Both the person who receives the donation and the donor are important ”, they concluded.
