Xiaomi Mi 11 officially launched in Indonesia. The cellphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset which supports 5G networks.
The Snapdragon 888 chipset on Mi 11 is built on 5nm process technology, is equipped with upgraded CPU, GPU and AI, making it one of the most powerful processors of the 5G era.
Snapdragon 888 uses the Kryo 680 CPU which is claimed to increase overall cellphone performance by up to 25 percent. The Adreno 660 GPU on that device is also 35 percent faster than the previous generation.
Xiaomi also claims Snapdragon 888 has 26 trillion operations per second which makes AI performance increase by up to 70 percent.
Apart from the chipset, another thing on the Mi 11 that grabs attention is the camera. Mi 11 is equipped with a 108MP main camera, arranged in an ultra-high resolution triple camera system that is claimed to be able to capture detailed images.
At the front, there is a camera in the form of a punch hole with a 20 megapixel sensor.
Mi 11 uses an AMOLED Dot Display screen measuring 6.81 inches and has a 120Hz refresh rate, and can display the ultra high resolution WQHD + which is equivalent to 3200 x 1400 pixels with a sharpness of 515 pixels per inch.
The Mi 11 battery has a capacity of 4,600 mAh which is supported by fast charging 55W using a cable and 50W via wireless.
Mi 11 is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner that can scan heartbeats and is accompanied by dual speakers specially tuned by Harman Kardon.
For the Indonesian market, Mi 11 comes with 8GB RAM with 256GB internal media. The Mi 11 is 8.06 mm thick and weighs 196 grams. For mobile connectivity it supports 5G networks, USB Type C, NFC and Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6.
Xiaomi Indonesia sells Mi 11 phones starting at Rp.9.9 million with 8GB / 256GB and is available in two color variants, namely Midnight Gray and Horizon Blue.
