More than one hundred thousand teachers in the metropolitan area of Mexico City and the Toluca Valley will receive the third dose of the covid vaccine starting next Tuesday, the Ministry of Education reported, for this they must register on the site known as “Mige”.
Members of the Union of Teachers in the Service of the State of Mexico (SMSEM), the second largest in the country, only after the Union of Education Workers (SNTE), will have to go to any of the 13 offices spread across six regions of 51 municipalities.

The state government explained that the registration platform was open as of this Saturday, October 8th. Inoculation starts on Tuesday and ends on Saturday 15.
In this case, the application of the Cansino brand antigen will also be applied to non-teaching staff of all educational institutions.
Vaccination sites
The first region of the Toluca Valley will have its headquarters in the Toluca Convention and Exhibition Center and in the SMSEM auditorium located in the capital; for Lerma region two, the vaccines will be applied in the official high school 0086 located in Lerma and in the high school number 207 of Metepec.
For the third region of Tlalnepantla, teachers will be able to attend the Technological University of Nicolás Romero and the federal secondary school “Niños Héroes” in Tlalnepantla; zone four will also have two locations: Conalep in Cuautitlán Izcalli and the Technological Institute for Higher Studies in the same city.
For region six of Ecatepec, teachers will present themselves at Texcoco official high school number 100 and Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Ecatepec.

Finally, for Nezahualcóyotl region seven, those interested should attend high school number 161 in Ixtapaluca and high school number 7 in the municipality of La Paz. In the case of regions one, two and six the campaign will last until Saturday, for the rest of the regions it will end next Friday.
“It is important to underline that all the personnel who will be vaccinated, by official order, will have the administrative structures in order to carry it out”, the agency detailed.

Teachers and non-teaching staff will be able to register and obtain the place and time assigned starting from this Saturday eight, by accessing the platform http://miges.edugem.gob.mx/vacunacion/ which manages the Integral Scholastic Management Module (Mige) which will allow the QR to enter the offices assigned to each of these six regions.
