Microsoft announced the launch of a new tool called Background Decoration that can be activated during emergency video calls, starting in the beginning of 2024.
The company stated in a statement that artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to improve the background in video calls and not just a quick arrangement, but decorations appropriate to the nature of your calls can be added. The company said: Meeting participants can now use creative background effects in Teams to show their best, even when the space they are working in is not at its best.
She pointed out that users can choose from three options: “Cleaning, Luxury, or Celebration.” The Cleaning option skillfully arranges your background, removing items from the floor and dispersing items on the shelves, while the Luxury option adds sparkling lights. At the same time, the option adds holiday celebrations.
The company explained that the new feature will be launched in early 2024 for Teams Premium users.
