For the first time in its history, the MGS League has made its ideal 11 of the 2020-2021 championship.
After the collection of points throughout the season and the sum of a last vote made by all the coaches in this category, this “Ideal Team Liga MGS 2020-2021” has been made.
A team led by Pablo Usoz (Country Club); appointed best coach and where the already announced Mario Garín (Country Club); as best goalkeeper and José Basterra (Country Club); as best player; are part of it.
Along with them appear the figures of Miki Delàs (FC Barcelona), Bosco Pérez-Pla (Country Club) and Alejandro Alonso (RS Tennis). The captain of the #RedSticks has been a key piece in the good campaign carried out by Pol Garrido’s pupils. The Madrilenian, for his part, with his team’s armband on his arm, raised a historic title for his team in Terrassa in the season that led to his retirement. The Cantabrian has become a pillar for Borja Movellán’s team, where his good performances and his 12 goals scored this year have led him to debut with the senior team, and also to be present at the imminent European Championship in Amsterdam.
Pau Cunill, Joan Tarrés (Atlètic Terrassa), Jan Lara (CD Terrassa) and Roc Oliva (RC Polo) are also part of this group of chosen ones. The first, has entered the elite with force, making a spectacular League final, demonstrating his power and precision in the execution of penalties. The second has maintained a regularity in the generation of the offensive game of Can Salas, which has facilitated the generation of many of the goals achieved by their teammates. Lara, despite not being able to avoid the descent with the vermell team, has stood out as one of the most successful men in Ramon Rius’ schemes. Oliva, one more year, has returned to teach for each field that has stepped, its enormous quality in the distribution and in the approach to the opposing areas.
Marc Miralles (RC Polo), has done nothing but make his evolution palpable in recent years, confirming himself as a fundamental piece for Roger Pallarols, where his 28 goals have kept the award of the trophy to the top scorer in suspense until the end.
Quique González de Castejón (Country Club), has emerged as one of the keys to the eventual champion. Its speed, handling and verticality have become the greatest threat to rival defenses.
