MEXICALI, Baja California.- During the week the municipal president of Mexicali spoke about the possibility of “lending” the State 180 million pesos, through a collaboration agreement to guarantee the payment of fees to the Issstecali.
This Thursday at a press conference, the president of the Coparmex of Mexicali, Octavio Sandoval, declared that the municipal government of Cachanilla is not empowered to lend money, the public resource said, it can only be used in 4 areas that are clearly defined and we pay it is not one of them.
During the week, the possibility of submitting the loan authorization to the council for consideration was also discussed.
Regarding this approach, the Mexican businessman stressed that the council is not empowered to make or authorize loans, since they are public resources of Mexicans, which are duly budgeted and have a defined destination established in the expenditure budget that was authorized by the Congress of Baja California.
