/ world today news/ The metropolitan subway crashed during rush hour. The movement of trains has been temporarily suspended in a section of the first metrodiameter.
A technical problem occurred on a train in the Serdika – Sofia University section. The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. – it’s rush hour for the subway, when thousands of Sofia residents head home at the end of the working day.
The Metropolitan Municipality informs that a Metropolitan team is taking the train out, after which traffic will be restored.
Minutes after the accident on the social network Facebook, citizens published photos from the Sofia University station, which is overflowing with passengers.
