The Metropolitan Puppet Theater will open its “Educational Puppet Theater” Program with the premiere – “The Hours”.
On September 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., in 96 – Secondary School, “Lyulin” quarter 4 and on September 18, 2009 at 6:30 p.m., in the “Ya. Sakizov” 19, Stolichen Puppet Theater will open its “Educational Puppet Theater” Program with the premiere – “The Hours”.
The production is an author’s play by Ivet Lazarova – Torosyan. The music is by Vladimir Dzhambazov. The scenography and puppets are the ideas of Teodora Lazarova and Vladimir Slavov. Costumes – Georgi Sotirov. The conceptual team works with actors – Mira Kalinkova, Mimi Yordanova, Dimitar Todorov, Hristo Dimitrov.
The director Ivet Lazarova – Torosyan transports the viewers into fairy-tale dreams – into the world of the Chasove family. The internationality of the family will cause laughter, the music will make younger viewers dance, and the combination of pantomime elements and scenes solved with palettes of colorful sets will let children’s imagination run wild. The style of the dramatic text is rhythmic, in which the colorful characters attractively present the Hours to the little viewers. Pleasant emotions will speed up time and everything will last a moment, and maybe an eternity… A performance in which children will have a lot of fun and learn to know the Clock.
The performance is part of the “Educational Theater” program of the Capital Puppet Theater.
