The uniformed officers attached to this unit that ensures the protection of citizens in the municipalities of Neiva, Aipe, Rivera and Palermo have completed 10 years at the service of the inhabitants.
The Neiva Metropolitan Police emerged under resolution 01935 of May 27, 2013, and since then began to provide its service with 1,480 men and women, who promised to ensure the safety and citizen coexistence of the inhabitants of the municipalities of Neiva, Rivera, Aipe and Palermo.
In commemoration of the ten years of creation of the Neiva Metropolitan Police, a Eucharist was held yesterday and later a floral offering, in order to highlight the significant contribution of the creation of this police unit, since its foundation date.
This protocol act was presided over by Colonel Domingo Alfredo López Dales, commander of the Neiva Metropolitan Police, the men and women, officers, non-commissioned officers, executive level commanders, patrolmen, auxiliaries and with the accompaniment of different political-administrative authorities.
The Neiva Metropolitan Police hopes and yearns to continue working uninterruptedly, tirelessly and efficiently, effectively and effectively to make the municipalities of Neiva, Aipe, Rivera and Palermo places of healthy living, where their inhabitants feel safe.
