– We will have a full winter in northern Norway next week, says meteorologist Olav Krogsæter in Storm Geo to TV 2.
The weather news is not good elsewhere in the country either.
– I have postponed switching to summer tires for a week because I knew what kind of weather we were going to get this week, the meteorologist says.
Frost in the lowlands – snow inland
It is early in the morning to be aware of the roads, both in Central Norway and in Eastern Norway. Especially if you have been optimistic and hoped that spring has already come after heat and sun last week.
– April is April, it can change from full summer to full winter, says Krogsæter.
But even if there is frost on the ground, no precipitation is expected in the lowlands. The hinterland and Trøndelag can expect some snow showers on Wednesday night over 400-700 meters.

Upgraded danger level: Forest and heather fire
There is a great danger of forest fires in western Norway south of Stadt. In Eastern Norway and in Central Norway and Møre- and Romsdal, forest fire danger is also expected after a long time without precipitation.
Krogsæter can not promise rain in the foreseeable future either, so it will still be dangerously dry.
You get the best weather in Sørlandet, the sun. Otherwise it is cloudy.
Winter storm in the North
Strong polar low pressure north of the Varanger Peninsula goes east. It will give strong winds and dense snow showers on the north coast of East Finnmark.
The cold wind and snow showers come all the way to Central Norway. It can come up in storms and even hurricane strength in some places.
In eastern Finnmark, there has been a yellow warning for heavy snowfall on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
Modest pollen distribution
It is season for Bjørkepollen and Salix, but next week there will only be a modest spread in the lowlands. So the weather winners this week are those who have postponed changing winter tires and forgot to start on allergy medicine: You have at least one more week on you.
