Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld
This year, the main spring exhibition – which will be held from May 5 to July 16, 2023 – will be themed Karl Lagerfeld : A Line of Beauty – Karl Lagerfeld, a beauty line. More than 150 clothes, as well as original sketches by the designer who died in 2019, will illustrate a very recognizable style, declined for more than half a century. As a prelude to this event, the Met Gala 2023 will be held on Monday May 1, around the work of the great couturier. The fine flower of the jet-set will, once again, rush for the occasion on the red carpet of the Met, almost as famous as that of Hollywood. Karl’s historical “muses”, his muses at Chanel – Ines de La Fressange, Cara Delevingne or Vanessa Paradis – will undoubtedly be there.

What about the princely family of Monaco, close to the longtime couturier? For her part, Charlotte Casiraghi is a “regular” of the Met Gala.
