It is the “Trattoria Meloni” inaugurated in Shengjin, an Albanian city where one of the two migrant centres born from the pact signed between Georgia Meloni and the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama. Location visited by the two presidents last June, with related joint press conference.

The video of the restaurant’s opening was posted on August 21 on Instagram by its owner Luca Gjergj, an entrepreneur very close to Rama, and relaunched by the satirical account CrazyItalianPol. A place dedicated – as Gjergj writes on the social network – to a “great woman who consolidated the Italian-Albanian friendship”.
So in the restaurant dedicated to her, you can eat among the paintings that portray the Italian Prime Minister with her typical facial expressions and at different moments of her career. The scene changes in the corridor that leads to the toilet, where the portraits of other politicians stand out, from Barack Obama to Benjamin Netanyahu.
