The Mega Feud: Zuckerberg vs Musk – Epic Duel Proposal and Fighter Lineup

KOMPAS.com – The feud between the two world technology giants continues to grow. Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, is ready to fight Elon Musk on one condition.

Elon Musk previously revealed that he had been in communication with the Italian government about using the Colosseum as an arena, without the UFC being involved.

However, Mark Zuckerberg, has other ideas. Zuckerberg requested a duel involving elite fighters from the UFC and ONE Championship.

Zuckerberg considers the spotlight on this duel not only for him and Elon Musk, but also for professional fighters.

Through social media Twitter, which is now known as X, Elon Musk explained the details of the fight.

“This fight will be hosted by my foundation and Mark (not UFC). Livestream will go through this platform (X) and Meta,” said Elon Musk.

“Everything that is highlighted by the camera will have an Ancient Roman concept, so it’s not a modern theme at all,” he continued.

“I have spoken with the Italian Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic place,” he added.

Shortly after that, Mark Zuckerberg gave a response through his platform, namely Threads.

Mark wants his duel against Elon Musk to be held professionally and accommodated by world-class promoters.

“I love this sport (MMA) and I’ve been ready to fight since Elon first challenged me,” Zuckerbeg wrote.

“If he agrees to a fight date, you will definitely hear from me too. Only until then, let’s just say what he said was not a mutual agreement,” he said.

“When I fight, I want to be in the ring with world-class fighters. The only way to do that is to partner with a professional organization like UFC or ONE,” he added.

The UFC and ONE Championship are the two dominant forces in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). While the UFC dominates MMA in the West, ONE reigns supreme in the East.

While ONE Championship plans to hold four major events in the United States in 2024, the UFC is preparing to visit Singapore.

The long-awaited duel between Zuckerberg and Musk has already attracted the attention of elite fighters. On Elon Musk’s team, fighters like Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones have offered their skills.

On the other hand, Mark Zuckerberg got Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tips from ONE Championship world champion, Mikey Musumeci, as well as other UFC fighters like Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.

Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk have been competitive on a number of fronts over the years.

However, the rivalry between the two peaked after Zuckerberg announced Threads, a platform similar to Twitter, last July.
