The meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), convened by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has been postponed indefinitely. This was stated by the press secretary of the President Sergei Nikiforov, BGNES reported.
“It’s like a lawsuit. It could take up to two days,” Nikiforov was quoted as saying by Ukraine-24.
Earlier today, President Volodymyr Zelensky convened an extraordinary meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, at which representatives of the security and defense sector were heard on the situation in Ukraine and its state borders. According to him, “the state will fulfill all its obligations to its citizens – residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who will express a desire to move to the controlled part of Ukraine.” If necessary, Danilov said, “Ukraine is ready to expand these commitments.”
President Zelenski has not closed the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, and if necessary, its members will meet again immediately. “Meetings will be held, if necessary, in the near future. All members of the National Security and Defense Council are in place. The council has been transferred to a 24/7 regime,” Danilov said.
