This action in La Rochelle was initiated by an inter-union CFDT, CGT and FO of the La Rochelle Ré Aunis group which, previously, called for a strike on January 12. The strikers denounce unequal treatment.
“It’s discriminatory and unfair”, plague a protester, educator at the Children’s Home. “We continued to work, we continued to go to families where sanitary rules are not always respected, we continued to manage the kids who were damaged even more by the context. In Marius-Lacroix, they had the prime, not us when we take care of the same young people. ”
“All in the same boat”
Educators, administrators, technical workers, animators, maintenance staff, etc. consider themselves unfairly deprived of an index revaluation. “We are all in the same boat”, plead the strikers.
The meeting with the director of the ARS aimed to bring back to Paris the anger emanating from the field. “The government is only pushing back the deadlines for extending the application of the Ségur agreement and postponing national negotiations for all staff in the medico-social and social sector”, deplores the inter-union. “The Segur agreements provided for a review of their situation in September, today nothing has been done and we are awaiting a hypothetical announcement of a mission led by Mr. Laforcade.”
