The media revealed details of the next full-fledged part of Call of Duty

Publisher Activision Blizzard and studio Treyarch are preparing to announce the next full-fledged game in the Call of Duty series. Windows Central portal shared details about the future title with reference to sources in the company.

The new shooter will be part of the Black Ops series. The company has not yet approved the full name of the title, but most likely the game will be released under the subtitle Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War. The shooter will take place during the 1990-1991 Gulf War between Iraq and an alliance of countries that included the USA, Kuwait, Syria, Egypt, Great Britain and a number of other states. The story will focus on the US role in the conflict, as well as coverage of the conflict and the end of the Cold War.

According to rumors, maps from previous Black Ops titles will be available in multiplayer, including Grind and WMD. In addition, the new Call of Duty will receive a separate zombie mode.

The premiere of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled for the end of 2024. At the same time, Activision Blizzard intends to encourage more people to pre-order the title with bonuses that will allow early access not only to the campaign, but also to various modes.
