While traveling, Putin can get skin rejuvenation treatments at the beauty parlour, work out at the gym and relax at the hammam.
Russian journalists learned about the armored train of President Vladimir Putin, worth about seven billion rubles. It, among other things, has a gym, a hammam and a beautician’s office, the Dossier Center said on Wednesday, July 5.
It is noted that new carriages for the train began to be built during Putin’s first presidential term, and the latest acquisitions are special carriages with a gym, hammam, bar and cinema. The train cost the budget at least 6.8 billion rubles.
The sports car allows Putin not only to travel in comfort, but also to take care of himself. Inside there is a beautician’s office, a gym and even a hammam, and if necessary, this car can save a person’s life. So, in the cosmetologist’s office, medical equipment is installed, in particular, an apparatus for artificial lung ventilation, an aspirator for sanitation of the upper respiratory tract and a defibrillator.
Also, Putin, while traveling, can receive skin rejuvenation procedures using a radiolifting machine, a cosmetic machine, an ultrasound therapy machine, and so on.
In the gym, Dossier points out, there are no barbells, but there is a bench for abdominal exercises, a hyperextension machine, tatami mats and dumbbells weighing up to eight kilograms.
The publication notes that specialists from the Moscow Research Institute of Radio Communications have developed their own buffering system for TVs on the train. It was required, because during the tests of the train it turned out that the TVs lose their signal when the car passes under bridges or next to tall buildings – and all the systems available at that time supported buffering of only one channel.
In total, 22 cars are operated as part of the special train, but usually not all of them are used at the same time. Most often, about ten wagons are connected to one trip.
Earlier it was also reported that Putin’s armored train has a car with a bedroom and a study, a car for accompanying personnel and a car for special communications.
